Our volunteer from sector 48 center, Dr. Sonal ( from Medanta Gurugram) pulled her team from there and this is the second health camp in sector 48 slums in 3 months time arranged by her along with her colleague. However we used to have medical camp with other organisations in then same slum since 2016 but a doctor owning the camp makes event more focused for the rectification of the health related issues.
100 + slum residents turned up for the medical check-up. The team consists of a gynecologists, a physician, an orthopedic surgeon and a radiologist to conduct the medical check-up.
The volunteers at sec 48 who participate classes on weekends supported the camp. No fee was charged and medical prescriptions were given. Further follow-ups in few cases were advised.
